I recall reading this like two years ago. Thankfully I don't have to sit for my job but still it's a scary thought. I guess anything can happen at any time though. I wonder why this case is worse than say getting a random stroke. I guess maybe because sitting causes those signals?

I actually will have to say this works for me... have done this for several years. Never knew why it made me feel better than my regular med, till now. Have been Asthma free for several years but the last week have had issues, really don't want to go to the Dr to be put back on meds and the inhaler just gives me the shakes, so I try to avoid it. Told my hubby I wanted a margarita to help and by the next morning I felt SO MUCH BETTER. Had to look it up to see if this was just me or if there was something behind it... found this!

You ought to redo this article and get it back up in time for this Christmas. Very important to set a schedule along with goals. And around the holiday season as the New Year approaches is probably when most people are motivated.

I often struggle with fatigue as I work four nights a week, then have three off. Keeping up with the kids' schedule, eating properly, and training all lead me towards fatigue. Once I'm there a couple month fight with depression is sure to follow. I always have to recognize when I am going too hard in certain areas and back off.

Excellent points made in your post. Another thing to keep in mind is how any supplements you are taking might interact with prescription medication.

Sprained ankles are pretty easy to treat at-home with the right techniques, strategy, and exercises. As long as there aren't any complications (fractures, like you've already ruled out), it can be a pretty quick recovery, as long as you use the right techniques!

Most people suffering from spider veins treatment for cosmetic reasons but spider veins are often more than just a cosmetic problem. In general, most people only relate spider veins only to the legs, but in actual, they can occur anywhere on the body. So, adopt a regular treatment for this. Take exercise regularly and go for walking early in the morning.

The Big C, Cancer, is not to be taken lightly. It knows no bounds. Any person, any age, any location, any organ, any time. Only through research do we get to know this enemy well enough that we may someday be able to control it. I said control it. A cure is well down the road. I hope and pray for control. This is not a glamorous illness, it is an ugly enemy. It can change who you are before you know it is there. Your physical and mental characteristics change and distort without your control. As stated in "In Defense of the Big C", you don't have to have cancer to be affected by it. Members of the family have to deal with the physical, emotional and financial effects from cancer. It can drain them into a weakened state of illness.

I could talk for hours on the effects of the illness and surviving. About the dedicated Physicians and Nurses that search for early detection and treatment. The ones that helped me. I am the Uncle that Lori S. mentioned in the article. I lost two sisters to cancer and Lori's mom, my sister, is battling it for a fourth time. Luckily, I have fought off cancer twice. But, it's there lurking...waiting.

Milk will actually deplete your calcium sources. Animal protien makes our blood ph acidic. Our body releases minerals to bring our blood acidity back down to alkaline. one of the minerals excreted from our bones is calcium. When drinking Milk your losing more calcium then getting from the milk. Countries with the highest calcium consumption also have the highest osteoporosis rate. look up " the truth about milk " don't be dumb The milk and meat industry is all about money. vegan is the way to go

As a personal trainer I see lots of people hit that brick wall at the age of 40. Maybe in their 30's they haven't taken great care of their bodies, but are now realizing they should be in better shape. It may be difficult to stay healthy and get in shape, with some discipline it's very doable. Just a few hours a week of good workouts will do the trick.

Maybe in their 30′s they haven’t taken great care of their bodies, but are now realizing they should be in better shape.
I have asthma and every time I drink any type of alchohol I am on my nebulizer by the next day. Liquor is a histamine. I would not try this.

I like what Mo had to say and I have to say that it is very true, when I eat a bagel I am not hungry in the day until much later. When I eat a donut, I drag around and am hungrier later.

Wtf does fruit, eggs, oatmeal, or raw food have to do with bagels versus donuts? You morons need to stay on topic. Is the article called fruit versus donuts? I think we all know what is healthier so keep your dumb@ss comments to yourself. This is a comparison of two things and the common misconception of which is better...not a forum for what you dorks like for breakfast.

Both are not a good option for a person with diabetes. I thinks oat meals, eggs, fruits, milk etc. are more healthier choices.

However, if you cannot control a doguhnut or a bagel, you can occasionally mcuh one or two.

Actually, nothing is forbidden for a diabetic.
