There’s power in being a woman. Yet, there are personal and social pressures that force women to believe that perfection is achievable. To be the “ideal” woman you should be married, have children, hold down a good job, and maintain the house – all while being a perfect size and keeping the perfect look. Surround Yourself with Positive People

Your friends and family are people that are close to you who can have a major impact on how you feel about yourself. If you are surrounded by individuals who are constantly pointing out your flaws, telling you what you’re doing wrong, comparing you to others, or giving you advice on how to be “perfect”, it’s time to cut ties. Remove yourself from those situations and instead find people who are supportive of you for who you are – flaws and all.

Society would have you to believe that you have to be perfect to be a woman. You are to be married by a certain age, have a certain number of children, maintain a job, take care of the home, have the perfect skin, the right body type, dress to perfection, and always be at your best. This is unreal and inhumane.
